About

My name is Angela Feldbush. I am currently a graduate student working on a doctorate in curriculum and instruction. I work as a College and Career Specialist at a secondary school in central Florida. In this role I support students through all phases of the college application process.

When I am not working or studying, I am an aspiring empty nester. I enjoy quilting and spending time in the mountains of Virginia chopping wood and completing home improvement projects. I am also a quilter and invite you to visit my quilt blog to learn more about my rainbow scrap quilts.

This blog, which is a class assignment, is a collection of PSAT resources targeted to 10th grade students. In our district, all students take the PSAT in 10th grade as a way to practice for the SAT and to help target high performing students. This blog serves as s source of resources and study materials that these students may use to prepare and maximize their test scores when they take the test again in grade 11 as juniors. Juniors who perform well on the PSAT have the potential to earn National Merit recognition. National Merit commended scholars represent 34,000 students who are in the top 2-3% of test takers each year. Though they receive a certificate of recognition, they do not automatically qualify for any further scholarships. Semi-finalist is the next group, and most of these students move on to become finalists. In Florida, these students may qualify for full ride scholarships to many state schools.
